Rosey Hay
Rosey Hay is the Artistic Director of New York-based REV Theatre Company, for which she is directing Carthaginians in this year's Philly Fringe. This summer she will also direct The Comedy of Errors for the Classical Acting Academy at the Philadelphia Shakespeare Theatre. Other directing credits: Hamlet, Othello and A Midsummer Night's Dream (Goodwill Theatre, NY); director and co-creator of The Witch of Edmonton, seen in New York, Philadelphia and Connecticut. She assistant directed Romeo and Juliet and The Winter's Tale at the Royal Shakespeare Company. Off Broadway: Dennis Potter's Brimstone and Treacle (US premiere). Regional: Hedda Gabler with Christine Baranski (Buffalo's Studio Arena Theatre); Tom Jones, Wild Oats, No Orchids for Miss Blandish, Carthaginians by Frank McGuinness (US premiere) at the Williamstown Theatre Festival, Love's Labour's Lost at Yale Rep, The Vivan Requiem: The Realm Of The Unreal (Philly Fringe). She has taught and directed at Juilliard School, Graduate Acting Program at NYU, Stella Adler Conservatory, American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Central School of Speech & Drama in London, and is currently an Adjunct Associate Professor at University of the Arts. Rosey trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. |
