Ryder Thornton marks his directing debut with New City Stage and Unidentified Human Remains and the True Nature of Love. He has directed and assisted directors at the Merlin Theater, Budapest Baroque Orchestra, Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, Philadelphia Live Arts Festival, Adrienne Theatre, Philadelphia Theatre Alliance's Spark Festival, Academy Repertory Theater, Allens Lane Theater, Kaibutsu, Walking Fish Theater, Wilma Theater, EgoPo Productions, Pennsylvania Academy of Vocal Arts, Temple Theaters, The Pearl Theatre Company and many others. His has a BA from University of Wisconsin and a MFA from Temple University in Directing, where he is currently an adjunct professor.
