Michael Brophy is made his directorial debut for New City Stage in 2009 with When You Comin Back, Red Ryder? Co-founder of the Lantern Theater, he recently directed Krapp's Last Tape for the company's Beckett Festival. He was nominated for a Barrymore Award in 2004 for Outstanding Direction of a Play for Travels With My Aunt with Lantern. Other productions he has directed include Underneath the Lintel, The Birthday Party, True West, Un-American, Rough Crossing, Old Wicked Songs, Betrayal, and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead. |
