Asymmetric: The Director

Russ Widdall is making his directorial debut with Asymmetric. An actor with over 20 years of experience in theatre, television and film, he also has also served as New City's Co-Artistic Director for the past 2 seasons. Favorite theatre roles include Chris in All My Sons (Villanova Theatre and Cheltenham Arts Center), Orin in Little Shop of Horrors and the title role in Oedipus (York Little Theatre), Rudy in Wrong for Each Other (Walnut Street Theatre Studio 3), and Teddy in When You Comin' Back, Red Ryder? with New City. He played Carlson in the Barrymore Award-wining production Of Mice and Men at the Walnut, as well as several roles with New City. His television work includes featured roles on The Wire, Hack and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Film favorites My One and Only, Game Change and National Treasure: Book of Secrets. He graduated from Temple University with a BA in Communications and currently calls Rittenhouse Square home.
