Russ Widdall (Raff) is thrilled to be back for his first show in Philly in 2 years. Last seen shooting a dog in on the main stage of the Walnut Street Theatre in Of Mice and Men (many Barrymore nominations, including the award for Best Overall Production of a Play), he also beat a 14 year old boy in Mark Webber's Explicit Ill's, and will be seen kicking Renee Zellweger's butt in the upcoming film My One and Only. A regular on the Walnut studio stages (most recently Natural History in Studio 3), Russ was also a fixture at the Lantern Theatre and InterAct Theatre in the 90's and has worked for all the usual suspects. Currently a resident of New York, he is very excited to be back in the city he calls his artistic home. Many thanks to Bill, Ginger, Lou, and all my new friends at New City Stage. This one is for Linda Cohen; may your beautiful soul rest in peace.
Ginger Dayle (Janice) is the Producing Artistic Director and founder of New City Stage Company. She is an actress, dancer, and singer who started her own company because she wanted to give more opportunities to the large pool of talent here in Philadelphia, particularly recent graduates looking to start their careers. She has acted in New City's previous productions of Angel, Sunshine, Extremities, and Talk Radio. She would like to thank the generous cast and crew for their hard work, support, and guidance, and for helping to make this third season a reality. When not performing herself, she is finishing up her M.A. in Theatre at Villanova and fundraising for non-profit organizations. A special thank you to Cindy for making me look really good! She spends most of her days and nights at Symmetry Dance Wellness with Kip, to whom she sends her love and appreciation. Please visit www.dancewellness.com. Thanks to the family for all of the support and Russ for the stress relief.
